Widget embeds and user data

The widgets hosted on SiteWidgetKit are designed to run in the visitor's browser. When someone uses a widget embedded on your website:

• Calculator inputs (dates, numbers, options) are processed in the browser and are not sent to our servers.
• Customisation values (colours, labels, text) are stored in the widget embed code you copy and paste. We do not have access to the settings you choose.
• Widget configuration data is not stored on our servers unless you explicitly submit it through a contact form.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website, which pages are useful and where improvements are needed. Google Analytics may collect information such as:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page.
• Approximate location (country or city level).
• Device type, browser and operating system.
• Referring website or search term that brought you here.

Contact form submissions

If you submit a message through our contact form, the name, email address, subject and message you provide may be stored so we can respond, moderate submissions, prevent spam and administer the site. We do not use contact-form data for marketing purposes and do not share it with third parties except as required to operate the site or comply with legal obligations.

Advertising and third-party services

If advertising or other Google services are added in future, they may use cookies or similar technologies to measure performance, prevent abuse and personalise or limit ads where permitted. This page will be updated before any material new services are introduced.

Data retention

Contact form messages are retained for as long as needed to respond and for reasonable administrative purposes. Analytics data is retained in accordance with Google Analytics' data-retention settings. Widget input data is not stored on our servers.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have rights including the right to access personal data held about you, the right to request correction or deletion, and the right to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the contact page. We will respond within one month.
